OH MY GOD I FELL ALSEEP IN THE GARDEN AND ALL MY BACK AND MY SHOULDERS ARE ON FIRE AND OH HOW THE SUNBURN BURNS.

Christ. I didn't think it was too hot, passed out in the garden lying on my front and now I am so burnt it's embarrassing. It's been worse before (personal record is second degree burns. El Parento would have taen me to hospital would I have let them. Shame, as now I have permanent scarring) but ohohohoh this is whty the factor 30 goes on every two hours in the sun.

I can feel it being all warm, despite slapping on enough Aftersun for a small elephant and lying in a cold bath for twenty minutes.

Owww...

(It's strangley appropriate that I had an exam with spam on it today, isn't it?)

Good old friendsfriends.

But... the alcohol! The waste! Right now I'm daubing it in a cold teabag and hoping for the best.

The suggestion of gin may well have just been my Dad's excuse to keep a bottle of it in the garden with him ;o)

Hope you feel better soon.

Ha, genius!

And you'd think I'd be used, given the whole red hair/pale skin combination, but no, every year it's a surprise...

do they have Aloe vera in plant type form over there? Cut a lobe of it open and wrap it in a wet papertowel and heat in the microwave for ten seconds, then once cooler, smear gooo directly from plant onto back. It stinks, but oooo feels good. And, if you have the tea, soak in a cool bath with about 20 teabags. and drink lotsa water!
