Oh, it's been a fantastic few days. It really has.

Tuesday involved finishing of exams. Now, this is a bonus on any day really, but I finished my exams. Also, it was, to be blunt, piss easy, what with the needing of six marks. For the hell of it, though, I actually did the exam paper, but I felt somewhat more relaxed going into it. I like my politics group as a year. We all do. Elaine flew in and organised her Politics Soiree for Sunday and then we started the exam. I had, actually, done some revision. On the bus. Jess asked me questions and I generally answered them badly, but it meant I had a vague memory of liberalims and environmentalism. Which was good, given that those were the questions I did. The source paper was all about liberalism, which I made quite a lot up of, and then I did the question on environmentalism. "Environmentalism is not a real political ideology." Discuss.' My answer went on to discuss "Well, the Conservatives are proud of not having an ideology. Labour changed theirs. Liberal Democrats combined a couple and more or less mak it nup as they go along. At least environmentalists are keen."

All things considered, it went well.

Then I panicked. I had to be on a bus to Wigan at 11.10, and I had about half an hour to go and find all my teachers and make them sign forms. Media teachers have all swanned off to Rome and I am afraid of the remaining media teacher. "Oh well," I thought. "I'm coming back in on Friday. I'll do it then." On the way out, I saw a sign saying that the form had to be in for Thursday. "Buggar," I though, and swanned off anyway.

On bus trip to Wigan later, I met Enid at the train station. The night before, Enid and I had been pondering the problems of having no clothes, and somehow, we decided we'd go and find the wonder that is Primark. People tell me about how cheap this place is, but I've never really believed it. But oh god wow. I am now the proud owner of a bag, sandals and a tankini, all for under a tenner. And Enid finally gave me my Christmas present. Woohoo!

I then decided to go back to college, but I still couldn't find the media teachers. I went and pleaded my case with student reception, who then told me it was okay to give my form in on Friday. Phew.

So, I went home and got a phonecall from Christine, so I went out for an afternon drink, and took Rebekah from Rangers with me as one of those chance-meeting things. We went for a drink, and I immediately decided that I would quite like to celebrate the end of exams by getting slaughtered. Sort of did, in the end. Christine has a Prior Engagement but Rebekah and I went out to Styles and tried interesting new drinks. Black Aftershock really isn't as bad as people let on. We then vaguely entered a pub quiz, and then wandered home actually watching a storm approach. We were across the park and saw the lightening and thunder roll towards us. It was quite spooky, and we made our way home swiftly.

Then the alcohol kicked in. How embarrassing.

So, Tuesday was good.

Wednesday was me seeing Clare again, which was just FANTASTIC. We then spent a frantic day looking around for holidays. Originally, we were going to Crete for a music more expensive holiday, but there was a problem with the credit card. We ended up going to Skiathos, which really is a strange little place, but it looks as though it's going to be a fantastic holiday. I will be paying people back for eternity. We're that good that we even have holiday insurance and now we're waiting to get E111 forms. Oh yes. We are prepared for this holiday. And I am also tremendously excited about going, too.

On the downside, I slept on the floor Wednesday night, as Clare is taking scary antihistimines and sleeping more than me. I went to the loo, came back and she's taken over my bed and completely zonked out. I went to get spare quilts and slept on the floor, as there was no room on my bed. Forget snuggle room, I needed breathing room!

I'm not sure if this makes me sweet for not kicking her out of bed...

Anyway, awoke this morning in a generally groggy mood and explained to Clare why I was on the floor. There was tea, there was toast and then I got a phone-call.

Oh yes. I have a holiday, I have finished my exams and I am EMPLOYED. I am officially working TWO JOBS. FEAR MY POVERTY-LINE STATUS. However, she was awfully nice on the phone. Apparently, my application was 'a pleasure to read' and made her job 'much easier to decide'. I start on Monday.

In conclusion, I have more money than I thought I had before, although a bit less due to holiday and I have finished my exams! Now, to find a third job for the evenings...

Primark is bloody amazing to be frank. Today I got a bra and two pairs of shorts from there for the grand total of £7. We love Primark.

And well done on being employed :D

And also WOO HOO for the wonderful feeling that is finishing exams!

I KNOW. It's wonderful. I keep on feeling guilt I'm not revising before I remember that I don't have to feel guilty. It's really strange...

Haha, oh I can completely identify with the guilt. I came home and thought, "Right, another one down, now to revise for the next one. What is the ne... hang on!"

And I've come to the conclusion that crossing off the last exam on an exam timetable is the most satisfying thing in the world :D
