Jul. 30th, 2005 01:41 pmSpammity spam, but with lots of sleep in the middle. I rolled out to pick up my parents who were, as expected very drunk. Driving by yourself in the pitch black is a very strange experience, you know. I was the only one on the roads, with my headlights lighting the way and music blaring as loud as it can and me singing along somewhat badly.
By the time I got the Masonic Hall, though, Good Vibrations was up to the weird bit and it was strangely appropriate. The building has a mock-Grecian front (neo-classical?) and is impossible to get into. In the end, I gave up and sat in the car and waited for my parents, who staggered out a little while later. I drove home, ignoring my mother's pleas of "BIG LIGHT! BIG LIGHT!". Good grief. Dazzler beam was the word she was looking for. Worryingly, that it exactly what I'm like when drunk. Oiy.
However, then I came home and slept and slept and slept. There is nothing better than waking up at 10.15 and realising you should be at work. I also managed to sleep for a full twelve hours. Bliss. I feel all warm and fuzzy now.
And I am now bored enough to go and do my ironing. So I present the following meme:
1. Reply with your name and I will write something random about you.
2. I will then tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I will pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.
4. I will say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I will tell you my first memory of you.
6. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll then ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your LJ.
ETA: and the peace is shattered by UCAS. Getting an e-mail and letter from them served to make me feel slightly sick inside (less than three weeks OH GOD) as well as hyperventilate, as I was entirely convinced that they were about to tell me they'd lost my application and can I apply again next year, please? Argle.
