... because I really keep on forgetting that I'm going to be one of these for four whole years in what is technically a different country. All I keep on thinking is "yay! I can go and see moralanqua!" whilst forgetting that a. I will be a professional History Buff and b. I will be living rather far away.

As such, Barbara (being one of the maybe 15 companions I have actually seen) will be my history icon from here on in. Unless, of course, That Nasty Day Coming Up Soon turns out rather worse than I expected and I am forced to forever glean a living making toilets shine.

Can't help but notice there's never been a companion who works as a cleaner. At least we finally got a shop girl.

Thing is though, I'm on a dig next week so I don't really want to erase the whole thing. And because I am on said dig, I shall not be able to go in and get The Slip of Doom, and shall have to wait for it to come in the post. *fears*

Oh, god, that's awful. I thought I had it bad that I had to go to work directly afterwards.

"Jean? Can I swap my shift on results day?"
"Why?"
"Well, I have to pick them up between 10 and 12."
"No problem, lovie. Why so late getting in?"
"Well, I have an hour long drive to work from college after I get my results."

That day will suck for so many more reasons than just the whole results thing.
