i've seen elysium
Sep. 9th, 2005 01:49 pmI have been productive today. To put it another way, I woke up in a cold sweat and realised I was so unprepared for university in the way of stuff like paperwork that I might actually lose my place. I am now fully prepared to pay my fees in three to four working days (I spoke to a real person! On the phone! About my ISA! I'm so proud!), every letter is sent off, and I'm in the process of registering my car.
The problem is that I'm really rather lazy. I always procrastinate everything, so nothing gets done, and it's bloody stupid, really. I annoy myself at times, I really do. How on earth will I cope at university if I don't work until the last moment?
Of course, that didn't really hinder my A-Level results, did it?
Anyway. Enough of all this nonsense. This weekend, I have to try this new-fangled exercise thing - training for a few hours on Saturday and then again on Sunday. Oh god. *flails*
I am addicted to the phrase *flails*. It is the next and lo! and I have no doubt I shall be bored of it soon. However, it is appropriate for days that are filled with running around Ormskirk like an idiot for some stamps just to send off the direct debit arrangement.
Also: Natwest. SEND ME MY FUCKING CHEQUEBOOK. I am fully aware that I am already in debt and it's not fair to either of us.
Right. Course choices. Suspect I will just scroll with my eyes shut and click and hope for the best. Have a nagging feeling I'll end up doing physics by this logic, but seriously, decisions and I DO NOT MIX.
eta: website is down so made no decisions regarding course choices and stuff. This is extremely annoying.
I think I want to go out tonight. Just for a few hours, and not a bender, but I'm suddenly feeling very claustrophobic. Oh well. Going out for a bit in a few hours. Can probably organise something for the evening given twenty minutes and my phonebook.
And oh, god, thank you Radio 1 for playing the new ranz Ferdinand song again. Now I can dance for three minutes and be happy. "WELL DO YA? DO YA DO YA WANNA?" Etc. Although when I howl the "lucky lucky, you're so lucky!" bit, all I can think of Rocky Horror. Never mind.

Date: 2005-09-09 01:27 pm (UTC)Ditch Prat West! Seriously! The words "arse" and "elbow" come to mind when dealing with them.
Transfer Stuff to HSBC, who are competant and friendly, and like helping students through university.
