Stationary is abhorrently expensive. I am in total denial that I just spent more on stationary than I did on cutlery.

What is more abhorrently expensive, though, is paying my first year fees in total. *cowers* Ugh, the total is hideous. I've never had to pay for education before. I appreciate that £1,175 is good compared to some countries costs, but yeesh. Paying it myself is suicide-inducingly awful.

*crosses fingers and presses the 'pay' button*

Ah. Now it won't take my card.

This is Not Good. I might not want to pay, but I do need to. Argh. And Natwest are still buggaring around and not giving me a cheque book, so I can't do that.

I didn't want to pay by direct debit, but it looks as though I may have to, at this rate.

eta: oh, and I am. Oh, yay. I now have two direct debits. My life is filled with joy.

Ok, yes stationary is expensive but what I do is buy folders and reuse them and put n subjects in an archlever file at the end of the year.

i'm thinking no matter how expensive stationary is Here, when you get to a uni town it will be incredible how much MORE expensive it is.
umless you go to some skanky place with i cheap student section, which could be fun. but i don't know.
