Sep. 28th, 2005 12:47 pmSo, I still feel ill and my methods to kill it now include the most disgusting cough medicine known to man (but a really big bottle for 99p so it will do me), eating a cheese and tomato toastie and drinking some of my mushroom soup. This is over my Alloted Lunchtime Budget but I am so fed up of feeling ill that I really don't care.
Except! No student loan yet!
If it's not here by tomorrow, I am getting righteous on the LEA. I really am. Also the Natwest. NEED MONEY NOW KTHXBAI. SEND CHEESE IF WORSE COMES TO WORST.
(ARGH the bookshop had Thud next to the history books. WHY MUST YOU MOCK ME OH LORD?)
I really enjoyed my mediaevel history lecture this morning, though. The lecturer was engaging, made me laugh at times, and all in all was quite useful in Introducing Key Concepts. Good fun, really.
ANYWAY. I have now finished my soup and I am going to combat my general low feeling by going to the library and finishing my Spanish homework (need a dictionary and can't be bothered buying one just yet) and also going to check what time I have Spanish and history tutorials.
I can see myself either loving or hating Spanish. Possibly it shall be a cunning combination of the two, not unlike politics for the first term of college, I think.
He's moving into Cambridge today. That's 409 miles, rather than 280. Ten days until I visit. As I said, helps to stay busy because otherwise I get stupid about the whole thing.
DocSoc tonight. I don't care how ill I am, I will crawl if it means I can go and see The Ark In Space.
