hathycolI am on a ten minute break from reading my course booklet and making notes.
My eyes hurt. Drugs making me want to sleep. (Although pain free, which is fab - I think I'd adjusted to it over the week which is why I feel great now.) The only reason I'm not going to the library to do this is that when I'm out, I'm out - and to take all the work I have to do would involve several books, not including files and paper. As such, I am sitting at my desk, trying not to think about having a cup of tea (NO MORE TEA UNTIL AFTER IT GOES DARK ARGH) and definitely contemplating making some notes and doing ahell of a lot of background reading.
However! I have learnt something new. No, not about the Renaissance (fascinating though it is - it's all so intertwined and oooh I'm geeking out now) but more that leaving all my reading to the night before the tutorial is a Bad Idea.
Okay. Break is now over. Now I must write up my notes. And then do the next chapter. And somewhere in the middle there are two lectures. ARGH.
And definitely not sleep. Oh no. *yawns again* Also going to a voluntary talk with Lisa tonight about the Black Death. We are such history geeks.
