Brrrr. *shivers* It's not meant to be this cold and it's annoying that it is. Seriously, people, it's the 15th October, not December. The heating doesn't come on for another three hours (methinks it is an effort to send us to the library) but my computer is by the window, because that is where the desk is. As such, I am FREEZING to death, but if I curl up in my quilt again, I will sleep. I am sleeping too much at the moment, and it's just not right. Went to bed at about 1am last night and woke up at noon, feeling delightfully decadent, given that I went downstairs to discover Derya and Sarah working AGAIN. I feel so terribly lazy in comparison. Oh well. I do, actually, plan to do some work this weekend.
No, really. I need to do some reading (AS ALWAYS) and my Spanish homework. I am disliking Spanish and I wish that my Spanish teacher wasn't so insistent of teaching us Spanish Spanish rather than Generic Latin America Spanish, because then I could annoy people on my flist to do my work instead. Alas.
Also need to clean the lounge (there is stil curry-related rice on the floor) and get my laundry. And put some more in, as I changed the bedsheets again last night. To be fair, I had spilled milk on them and they needed it. ph3ar my cleaning skillz.
I really want a bath. I wonder if I could invade a halls of residence and nick one of theirs?

Scraffy means skanky, as far as I can tell. The problem with the slang in this house is that it can only be translated in terms of more slang, which makes life confusing for our American and German...

Skanky is northern? We say that in the midlands, although I spose personally I'd probably say manky more often. Heh, I so should have studied linguistics, it's fascinating.
