Oct. 16th, 2005 05:59 pmI have done my Spanish homework! *vaguely victorious dance* Sure, it took me until about 6pm to complete, but that's not the point. I like grammatical ctructures and changing words to fit into them. It's when you play silly buggars with stuff like sentences that I flail about a lot and get confused.
I have also done my laundry. It is lying around the house and I have discovered that our trolley has an amazing use as a clothes horse. I've got my bedsheets draped on top of it so that they dry quicker.
I have an essay due in three weeks. OH GOD.
And now? I'm hungry. Despite my injunction along the lines of "I AM NOT COOKING NO NO NO" I am hungry and really should make the effort because no one else will. Have to find my stuff for medieval history first, though. Busy, busy, or something like that. Actually feel better if I stop procrastinating and do a bit of work. This will probably not continue. Much like college, expect whiny posts about how I've not worked. For years and years.
Post graduate work is probably going to be entirely beyond me, possible thoughts regarding PGCEs or not.
[eta: I am accidentally bonding with Selda. Yesterday we talked about how she was born and raised in Tokyo (she's not Japanese, so I have no idea how this came about) and now she's lent me 1984. On top of the pile of papers in the kitchen there was a copy of a print off from the Socialist Workers Website involving a criticism of Blairite policies and the new anti-terrorism laws, with a small note on the bottom, reading "I have 1984 if anyone wants to borrow." I took the bullet, knocked on her door, and asked to borrow it. She's a mystery. I want to get to know her better, but it's not easy. I am going to make this work.]

Date: 2005-10-16 05:14 pm (UTC)They don't give us many essays, but when they do, it's a doozy. I then have five of the buggars due in a space of three weeks around that date. I really need to stop nancing about about all of this.
