hathycolCame home from shopping with a mini plastic axe, a bow, and some tinfoil to make a sword with. I feel like a LARPer.
I'm not very good at Halloween costumes. However, I have my gear from training not being used in the cupboard, so why not? I'm just annoyed I don't have time to sort out a shield or indeed, didn't bring my shield with me. *misses shield*
However, since my costume will make sense to no one else, I also have blue eyeliner. Woad, here I come. Just call me Bodecea, but without, you know, any of the historical accuracy or interestingness. It should be fun, in a cheesy sort of way. And bear in mind that Katie is going as a vampiric goth badger FROM THE FUTURE (or - what happens when you buy vampire teeth, a badger mask, have some black nail varnis and cover a sieve in tinfoil is a half-hearted attempt to be a Dalek), Sarah as Kitty Butler and Derya promises to find something weird his afternoon. In comparison, reverting back to Lady Nicholaa Du Fey is fucking normal. I'm going to try and make sure some photos are taken - you lot need to see the crippling poverty in which I reside, after all.
Anyway. I spent this afternoon suffering at a meeting for the new student reps (training on how to attend a meeting - the hell?) but now I am home and have an essay I want to do something to other than stare blankly. Can't see it happening, myself.
I may tidy my room instead.
