i don't want to miss you tonight

So, today? Sucked. I haven't paid my car tax and am now entirely paranoid that I will be swooped down on and CURSED AND FINED INTO OBLIVION. I did try and pay it, but insurance details? Are in Ormskirk. I? Am in St Andrews.

YOU SEE MY PROBLEM HERE. I will be paying tomorrow or Wednesday. So, we need to go shopping tonight becuse I won't be able to drive into St Andrews because I will be seen without a valid tax disc on any other night. We still have no food in the house. I spent an hour doing the washing up when I did drag my sorry carcass into the house because no one else had done it, and hell, I have crazy things like standards. I am ignoring the frankly festering state of my room in this, because there's nothing rotting in here.

Or so I like to hope, anyway.

On the bright side, I have done my tutorial preparation (by god! Before it was due in! I rock!) and I decided to spend an extra hour in bed. Go me. It means I will be awake for an extra hour tonight. I was going to go to the Guiding in University meeting tonight, but I have no time because I did silly things like try to have fun this weekend. My own fault, blatently.

Christ, but I can't WAIT for this week to be over. I need to get away from this place for a bit.

I'm virtually certain you get 10 days grace on the tax disk thing. Don't panic! I wouldn't drive the car though and I'd park it in a dark corner!

It's in a very dark corner, and I hoped for the grace thing. No more driving for us, though, hence the fact we just did the massive shop of death...
