Nov. 2nd, 2005 04:11 pmLast night, I went to bed relatively early. An hour later, I was still wide awake. As such, I decided to try changing the sheets, because that normally works to make me drop off. An hour later, I was finally asleep.
God, but I didn't want to get out of bed this morning.
I did - just about. I left the house ten minutes after I rolled out of bed, and swore a lot whilst muttering about the rain. When I got home, I gave in to my urges and went back to bed.
The thing is, though, when my alarm went off at 1pm, I ws having a really interesting dream. So I rolled over, turned the alarm off, and went right back to bed. Today, as such, all I have done is sleep and watch Countdown whilst eating breakfast/lunch.
I do, however, plan to work. Tea is sorted in a "I can make it in half an hour" sort of way, Rome is on at nine, and a four hour sleep in the middle of the day has damned me for sleeping tonight. I want the thing finished today, so I can spend tomorrow editing like an idiot, packing, begging my Spanish tutor to let me skip the lesson on Friday, filling up the car with oil, petrol and air in the tyres, checking the route home (it's so FAR!) and writing down a long list of stuff the housemates have to remember to do while I'm gone. The list goes as thus:
1. Buy me tickets for the Christmas ball. I will pay you back when I'm home.
2. Eat. It's not hard. The food is in the cupboard and Tescos delivers if need be. No, they do, honest.
3. Sarah? Derya's not here. That's how the rest of us feel ALL THE TIME.
4. Try and do the washing up at least once. Don't leave curry pans in the lounge, the smell takes dys to go away.
I'm so glad we don't have plants.
Anyway. My laundry is in the dryer (where have all my pants gone AGAIN? This is NOT NORMAL) and I am sort of feeling guilty about my lack of NaNo work. Bad Colleen!
