i boogie down like a unicorn
Nov. 23rd, 2005 12:22 amI have the craziest insomnia. At this time of night I am normally in bed or thinking longingly of it and yet, I'm wide awake. It' not as though I'm just doing a last minute check, I'm actually trying to find something to do. I think I'll do all my correspondance instead. Realistically, I should work, as my tutor has yet to e-mail about that extension, but instead, I have done my laundry, the washing up, looked mournfully at the grill pan and decided that's a task for another night and cleaned my room. Seriously, I can see carpet and desk and everything. The only odd bit is the underwear liberally spread across the room as the tumble dryers are shite and I couldn't afford to put any more money into the machine. I feel better for this as my brain has sufficiently relaxed enough and let our some of the tension which results in agonised squeaking via my throat. Good fun.
In other news, I have quietly put 'Do The Hippogriff' on repeat because there's something wonderful about mixing Jarvis Cocker, Radiohead and Harry Potter to make the Weird Sisters. It's actually a really happy bouncy song and I think I wil start to associate it with Christmas. Worrying. Seriously, though, if there is an album of the Weird Sisters, I want it. (NOT Harry and the Potters or Draco and the Malfoys because I have some shame...)
Drugs still not working but I sense I may begin rattling soon.

Date: 2005-11-24 11:00 pm (UTC)oddly enough i had the same i'm-not-sleeping problem last night. twas annoying as was in boyfriend's house, thus unable to peruse my normal night time activities (checking email, reading books, cooking). thing is, i could've, but it would've been rude. and strange. not to mention the fact that he's ill-equipped for night time foraging, both of food and books. he reads entirely the wrong kind of fantasy! and i asked could i muck about on his computer, and he said no!
damn him. damn him to eternal heck.
