Feb. 13th, 2006 05:22 pmRadio 1 is playing Goldie Looking Chain. The old stuff, not the crap new stuff. This makes me happy, as you might be able to guess, although I think it's a good thing that Derya and Katie aren't in to hear my dancing around to it. Apologies to poor
spockette, who has to live underneath me. Poor thing.
Oh my god! They're playing London Calling!
Radio 1 should have British themed music more often, this is ace.
I feel very accomplished. I have made various appointments with various people for various things (long and boring story), completed a job application form, Elaine has agreed to be my reference for a potential job in Starbucks, been to both my lectures despite some total apathy and Orange have decided to give me text messages for 3p a message for being a loyal customer. To be honest, I'm just lazy and couldn't be arsed moving networks, but, well, I won't complain.
OH MY GOD THEY'RE PLAYING NEVER EVER. If you are of a certain age, as I am, you will know ALL THE WORDS to this. All Saints were SO DAMNED COOL when I was, uh, about 12.
Anyway.
I have yet to make a dent in my reading other than looking it in terror, but there we are. Apparently there is a plan to go toGaySoc LGBT tonight which I have a vague curiousity about. However, I have a lot of reading to do. And, y'know, book report (oh yay) to do as well.
We shall see.
Also I need to make a start on the reading for the next Russian book, actually. Hmmph. Work! In a university! The madness!
