Quick message just to say that despite everything, the bitching, the crying, the eating, etc, etc, Microgynon 30 Does The Task For Which It Is Assigned as I am officially not pregnant.

Obviously this is not all fun and games but it is a tiny little load off my mind.

And that is all. Proper update, uh, erm, not sure. At some point. Have done little suitable for LJ entry anyway other than re-watch Serenity. Erm.

I'll be over here now. Being not pregnant. Nor having any kind of the traditional period side-effects bar the obvious one. This is a Distinct Bonus.

I'm very glad to hear that. Because, er, you may not be the only one having these adventures for much longer!

*nudge nudge wink wink*

They are long and perillous (spl? eh, I only just got out of bed, no idea) adventures but they are thoroughly and well-worth it. I shall say no more on THAT front, but apart from anything else it is actually safer. And the period is the MOST PAINLESS THING EVER.

And you will be forewarned and forearmed and can tell people why you're sobbing for no good reason.

You know, I have a filter for posts like that. Except that it's a by request one, so the posts tend to go a bit further.

There are far too many people on my flist who have known me since I was 11 and here are plenty of people who have known Simon since a similar age. The filter ends up getting far too complicated...

Funny, but quite, quite wrong at this point in time. Seriously, I'd feed it vodka or something entirely by accident...

Out of morbid curiosity, would you have had an abortion or kept it?

... honestly don't know. Lots of factors come into consideration there, really - there are two parents, for a start, ask Simon the same question, it isn't just down to me - and stuff like how pregnant I was, how far into university, etc, etc.

Basically, It Depends. Probably the former if I worked it out early enough and I was still pretty much first or second year undergrad. Older.... don't know.
