hathycolCar is very very broken, I think and I feel slightly nervous actually driving in it. I don't want to go to the garage and say "It is wrong, but I don't know what with. Fix it, y'all," because I will be TOTALLY RIPPED OFF.
Why my car doesn't break in sensible times or places is beyond me. I'm sort of debating shoving it about thirty seconds from the car park and phoning the RAC so they can look at it, tell me what's wrong, and tow me to a garage.
Working tomorrow night, though, so maybe not. Student loan day on Monday, though, so that can pay for it and I can worry about the fact that my entire rent for this bit of term is more than I will be positive figures. I like having an overdraft, but this whole university lark is far too expensive. I am, however, totally unwilling to give up having a car because that thing is MY BABY and Mum says she'd sell it if I left it at home. *cuddles Starbug* Oh well. I shall accept my overdraft. I reckon that if I don't touch the bank account for anything except the big bills (current work money is saved for food, entry to the Bop and now car tax which is due in the end of the month oh gods) then I might be able to wipe out some of the overdraft. No, that's a total lie because I have to pay... £900 in bills, plus at least £100 for the car. Oh well, that's £169 taken off the overdraft. I do have, erm... *thinks* about £300 in savings lying around, though. That's my overdraft paid off if it all goes horribly wrong. Actually, that makes life a little easier...
I am thoroughly glad to have a job, and therefore at least have my food paid for me. However, I have a fair bit in the way of bills ahead of me. I need to have saved about £150 for a jaunt to Cambridge in June, oh dear God. Plus I have to do crazy things like pay for a phone bill and stuff. Argle.
Summer shall be fun, as I work at least three jobs to try and pay my overdraft off! We'll see how things look when the shiny overdraft is in. I could really do without having to pay extra bills, though. CURSE YOU, BRAKE PADS. *shakes fist*
Also, today was a very slow day and no one tipped, which means I'm totally not making enough right now. Not best pleased. If anyone wins the lottery and fancies bunging me a thousand, I won't say no. So y'all know.
