It's been a very, very odd evening.

Firstly, I appear to no longer hate and detest ballet as much as I did, because finally the dance gets a little bit interesting towards the end and shouldn't be total shite.

Secondly, I recieved my assassin targets and had a bash at killing one of them. First: it is stupidly easy to get into the halls of residences. Second: one of mine lives at the DocSoc location, which could make life tricky. Third: I went during dinner, so ended up just leaving a note. I wrote a limerick for the occasion (tried a haiku, but it didn't really work out) but my post has been mangled by the Umpire. I am Not Pleased.

Thirdly, I am apparently running for the position of Castellan in DocSoc. I wasn't going to bother, really, but I actually got an e-mail about it. There are other positions, but me and money don't get on for the other interesting roles and I wanted a weird high council name. Ho hum. Vote for me! Presuming you're in St Andrews DocSoc. Castellan Colleen, how is that not a good thing? Thing is, though, they sent me an individual e-mail, spelt my name correctly, and was all "You seem fun! You turn up a lot!" which makes me suspicious that they've found me on Teh Internets (if so, hi *waves*, vote for me) or that apparently I just really do turn up a lot.

Only problem? The AGM is in the hall of residence I tried to assassinate someone in. Can I go in disguise?

So. Even if I don't get it (there are many people in DocSoc, but I have no idea how many will turn up) which I probably won't, I still feel all warm and fuzzy inside in a sort of "hey! People notice me sometimes!" kind of way. So, yay.

Tonight should be sucking a lot more, given that my Easter egg has been demolished so I have no chocolate, and I have many books to read on trade and economy, and I can hear Withnail and I next door but I was still Research Girl for the first half of it and couldn't watch it, and also tutorial reading, but apart from the Withnail and I, I've actually managed to complete all my work for this evening and can now concentrate on feeling smug.

Me for the win! Or something like that.

(Why do I have no squeeful Doctor Who icons? This must be rectified.) Nope, sorted now. God love Doctor Who.

Go for the Soc position! It looks great on a CV - proves that you did more than turn up to lectures and write stuff! (I have one term of President of the University of Reading Sci-Fi Soc on mine.)

Well, I've nominated myself so we'll see how that goes.

I didn't even think anyone knew my name or who I was other than "the girl that knew all the answers to the quiz about City of Death"

Um. You get gven three names of other people who have signed up, and using a cunning nickname, you run around like an idiot and try to cunningly assissinate them, by doing things like making a piano out of styrofoam and throwing it at a person.

It's a good laugh...

Nah, it'll look a bit suss if I turn up with contingents of people who are just there to vote. Byt thank you!

The position is uncontested. It's MINE.

Im standing for Services Rep in Sallies. Terrifying. No way that you could come and live in Sallies for the week and just vote? I really dont want to just get no votes or something.
