Erm, yeah. Really not feeling too grand right now. I was complaining to Simon about this on the phone last night, but I feel pants. Sore throat, weird temperature thing going on, complete lack of appetite, headache that won't go away, sore ear (one the side of the Tongue Thing o' Doom, so that is probably all related) and sort of faintly blurry vision, like the world is just a little bit too far away, and swollen glands. This is all a sign that my Sooper Dooper Immune System is working its magic and hopefully it will go away soon and stop preventing me from thinking properly.

*shivers*

As you can imagine, this is not helping The Revision Thing. I have, actually, revised all of the Enlightenment, Politics in England in the Eighteenth-Century, The Growth In Consumerism and pretty much everything to do with America - colonisation, development, the War of Independence, it's all good. Tonight, I'm going to get through all of France, from the absolutism of Louis XIV to Napolean. Sounds pretty ambitious, but to be fair, all the previous topics involved heavy reading from the course reader. I'm not doing that for these ones, and I can revise lectures pretty quickly.

Besides, you know, Louis XV and Madame du Pompadour. It's all good.

Anyway. I currently have the window open to try and stave of the nausea. I've eaten tonight, because I thought a bland tomato sauce (TOO ACIDIC! IT TOOK ME HALF AN HOUR TO EAT) and pasta might settle my stomach a wee bit, and because I hadn't eaten all day, but nope, really not helping. I am, however, debating shutting the window, because I downloaded a lot of Harry and Potters and Draco and the Malfoys stuff, so I am afraid that the neighbours can hear it.

Oh well. Off to France! Metaphorically, obviously.

Also there is a new Muse song out and there is a new album out soon and this makes me happy.

I am the daughter of two nurses. Since I can get out of bed, type coherantly, and still just about struggle food down, I don't go to the doctor.

It's sort of been trained into me since a young age. I've been to the doctors three times this year, and that's loads more than usual; once for The Mutated Freshers Flu Which Got Into Every System, once for that sore throat that actively prevented me from making any kind of sound, and the other time was for the Pill.

And my mum told me off down the phone for the sore throat doctors attempt. "You got out of bed! You didn't need the doctors!"
