Am now officially bored of work. Thats not, to be honest, entirely true, but I am fed up with the first hour of it. I don't mind the washing-up after breakfast, even though it takes me an hour and running back and forth with hot water when the hot water died on me again and DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE BUTTER but I like the rest of the day after that. No, honest, I do. I hate, though, that the first part of my day is invariably the worst. I don't get to gently roll into it - instead, I run in, do fifteen minutes free of charge and no matter how often I point out 'I've been in for five minutes, and breakfast isn't served until eight anyway, so please just hang on for two minutes while I go and get the milk, please?' I will still get someone to shout at me and ARGH ARGH ARGH.

It's just all a bit disheartening. Bollocks to it. It's over in three weeks! And I am going away for a weekend in two of them! And there is a BSU camp in September, which I can actually go to and possibly even be useful! Hurrah!

I need to stop just sitting around on my days after work and actually do something. Mostly, I want to go on a shopping spree, but I also desperately need to save up. I should probably use this time to write my ficathon story, which I spend the morning drive thinking up the plot of (OMG PLOT PLOT HELP ME) and then forget it in the washing up bowl. I need to do the thing where I make myself sit down and finish the damned thing. The problem is, I can't think of a plausible ending for love nor money that doesn't seem like a cop out. I might have to go for the cop-out, unless something comes up. Saying that, I write my best for ficathons, so... we'll see.
