I would like to do an in-depth review of Snakes On A Plane, but I suspect there is no need for a spoiler cut; I rather suppose you've all guessed the plot. Out of courtesy to those who have a terrible phobia of snakes on my flist, I will not include any gory details, but omfg. That film is brilliant, in a 'so bad I'm laughing' sort of way. I have a weird urge to watch it again, actually. And I don't know why, because a lot of it made me squirm (SNAKES ARE SCARY) but still. Yay!

What with just being generally amused by that film, and having a lovely meal after that, and being PAIN FREE ALL DAY NO HONEST and work not being terrible, it was just a good day yesterday, really. I even experimented with wearing one of the new skirts and new shoes I'd bought, too. No more capitalism for Colleen now, because I need to try this saving malarky, but there we are.

Today is also my one day off all week, as well as my Dad's 48th birthday. My parents and my sister are off out tonight, so I will spend much of the night slobbing around and not doing anything interesting except maybe watching a DVD or something. I might not be working next week, of course. The woman I'm replacing came in brandishing a sick note yesterday, so there's a possibility of more work right there.

HOWEVER. In two weeks time, I am refusing to work anymore so I can have some mystical Time Off in order to see some people for the last time, and two weeks after that I'm back in St Andrews. In less than a month, I will be in the car! Driving! To St Andrews! Where there are glorious things like DocSoc and the Student Union! So I have to save my money, you see.

... except I'm going to Leeds next weekend to see the ever-fabulous
