like a record baby, right round
Sep. 14th, 2006 04:52 pmI am the victorious queen of packing. Or: I have spent all summer living out of boxes anyway, so once I've got some new stuff into boxes it's all pretty painless really. I still have to sort out Clothes, which is such a massive project it takes a capital letter, but that's a job for tomorrow, when I plan to camp by the washing machine and snarl at anyone who gets in the way of the last free lot of washing until Christmas. I'm going to miss tumble dryers, but seriously, that's £2 I COULD SPEND ON ALCOHOL. It's like, a third of entry to the Bop. Oh! the Bop. I have missed that. I think I may spend some of the, oh, £200 I have left after paying my rent on a "I <3 The Bop" t-shirt. I am tempted to force people to come to St Andrews on Fridays just for the wonder that is The Bop. We may not have a club night, but hot damn, we have the cheesiest night in possibly all of Britain!
It is wonderful that I'm not even at uni yet and already my priorities are swinging back towards booze and food and rent and piercings rather than silly things like, say, clothes and books and stationary. It is fortunate I sort of managed to bribe Dad into buying me some socks and some paper.
Also, and I realise this could just be me going mental, but is the Teaspoon down today and was it me that broke it? *fears*
(This post was brought to by listening to Dead Or Alive "You Spin Me Right Round" for the best part of an hour and not realising that people could see me dancing.)
Also, I fully appreciate that tomorrow I will realise everything I forgot to pack. Aha! I need to take my paper diaries. I don't keep them anymore - stopped when I was about 16 and before long LJ came along for all my emo needs - but I don't want to destroy, but I definitely don't want anyone to read them. I was quite embarrassing at 13.
Other than that, though, I AM PACKED LIKE WHOA. Honest.
