hathycolHello world! This is my last proper update until, um, whenever ResNet gets off its arse and actually puts me onto the internet. Judging my last time, it might be Monday, but I AM TREMENDOUSLY BUSY AND IMPORTANT YES or at least I have a DocSoc meeting that day and ahem. As such, I will be online as soon as I can, but I'm not yet sure when, exactly, that mystical time is.
I am currently in the process of Finishing Off Packing; or, from another perspective, I am running around the house and throwing stuff into bags in something approaching an order. Joan is next on the list, but first, I thought I should give you all my address. People were very good about sending me stuff last year, HINT HINT. When I get settled in, I'll put up a post with screened comments for anyone who wants a postcase or just a random burbly letter. I haven't gotten over the novelty of having my own address yet.

Anyway. In the next few hours, I am going to go and grab Iona, go shopping for bread and milk (FUN AND GAMES), grab Simon, have my last meal with my family, and then force Simon into finishing my packing because last time, he was singularly responsible for remembering all the stuff I forgot.
I have the most horrible dream last night. I had to do a compulsory language, and I was in beginners French, but it was Death Of A Salesman. Translated. I sat through the lecture in my dream. It was truly horrible. Now I am a wee bit anxious on top of worrying about Forgetting Stuff and the Mystery Housemates and ARGH.
