Yeah, just got an e-mail for Vagina Monologues. Didn't get in. No great surprise to see all the names that did get in are the people who have been doing it for years. Fair enough; another year of only Americans and posh girls. To be fair, it does rather give a good example of the traditional St Andrews students.

That was a wee bit bitter. Sorry. I think I might start auditioning for other stuff, though, and see how it goes because SOMEONE WILL WANT ME YES.

Speaking of drama (I do a degree in history, honestly) I should currently be in a Wyrd Sisters rehearsal. I am donned in my bright blue hoodie, a walking advertisement, but yet I am not, in fact, actually praticing for the play I am advertising. Why? Because the Ents crew (sorry, graeme_case) have BROKEN THE ENTIRE LIGHTING RIG.

THE PLAY IS IN TWO DAYS AND WE HAVE NOT YET PRACTICED IT ON STAGE.

OH MY GOD. Am I doomed to just never do any drama?

Anyway. Somewhat obviously, everything is now three hours behind and more annoyingly, I am going to miss Torchwood. DAMN. I hope it is available somewhere else other than the repeat. It was bad enough that I had to go all the way to Mohawk's house to watch it.

Still got half an hour to kill before the rehearsal should theoretically start up again. Argh! I've even done my tutorial work (well, I've researched Berkshire in the Domesday Book and WHAT FUN THAT WAS.)

don't worry. it's traditional that you don't get on the stage till the rehearsal before the show - you wouldn't have it any other way really...
on a serious note, you are not responsible for the entire show. i understand that you want it to go well but really, you can't do everything. it isn't the end of the world. *pets*

the vagina monologues crew should involve you even if you aren't onstage. i know it's been mentioned, but if they can't find some way for you to be productive and have fun too then they aren't doing it right and you should get on to eve ensler about it. seriously, check the website. they are indeed supposed to include as many backgrounds as possible, so if you know any ethnic minority girls or disabled girls who wanted in (and are any good, or have the potential to be any good) shout at them about that.

also, when it comes to loud neighbours, i've found going through my anger and talking to them in an "i'm perfectly calm" voice with a bunch of keys in my hand works quite well. particularly if they have scratchable things such as cars, expensive speakers, eyeballs etc.

*hugs* Someone did want you - you're in Wyrd Sisters! So other people are bound to want you very much; Vagina Monologues just wasn't it. But you are fab, don't forget.

I missed Torchwood! I kind of totally forgot it was on; though it makes no difference as we don't have digital. I must remember on Wednesday.
