Nov. 18th, 2006 11:34 pmI have, I think, a bit of a problem with Robin Hood. By 'a bit of a problem' I mean 'oh, fuck, I'm addicted.' I also fancy Richard Armitage in ways that are probably illegal in quite a few countries. Me and Katie just spent the evening watching it, and shouting at Marion and Robin and going "OMFG ARSE SHOT PAUSE IT PAUSE IT."
I am a bad, bad person, but it's a sort of nice escapism. Simon, I still love you most obviously but you are ill and therefore it is immoral to perve at you, ergo I can finding someone to perve at in the meanwhile.
Seriously, though, just look at the icon, people. OMFG.
amaunet promised me North and South. YAY!
Erm, yes. I went out last night, and despite spending an awful lot of money, getting very drunk and making a prat of myself in front of Phil, I had a really lovely night, dancing badly and enthusiastically to Girls Aloud and whatnot. Work wasn't too painful either, which was refreshing.
Odd day today, though. Woke up really early and couldn't sleep, so I didn't. Instead I pottered around and did my laundry, went and spent a couple of hours with Susie and went to buy chicken for tea. Problem: the bag I bought is just plain nasty. By 'just plain nasty' I mean actually already partially cooked and just generally a very suspicious colour. Unfortunately, we had nothing else in the house but the stuff for curry, and I'd gone and gotten myself all hyped up for curry, so, um, I bought a takeaway. I am shocked and appalled at my own excess, but god, it was SO GOOD so I don't really care right now. And then I watched four episodes of Robin Hood with Katie and it makes my life a really happy place.
Tomorrow is Raisin Sunday. There are vague plans for wine. Oh dear.
