I'm sure most tutors would be sympathetic? Especially if you say it's all planned out etc and you just need to get it typed up.
Fingers sound painful :( And the people at the Chinese place sound quite irresponsible to send you out on a delivery afterwards. Sounds like their health and safety policies could do with a review.
