stupidore tagged me, so...
Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. I have a false tooth. It's the very front right one. This is due to an acident involving a canoe paddle when I was eight.
2. My ultimate 'guilty pleasure' film that I watch every time its on is Return to Oz. I think it's better than The Wizard of Oz.
3. When I was little, I wanted to be a scientist. How times change.
4. I am unnerved by just pictures of spiders.
5. I can't cook cheese sauce. Not even the packet type.
6. For someone with so many piercings, I'm being very wary of a tattoo.
7. I have broken all the fingers on both my hands. Until two weeks ago, though, I'd only done it once to each hand.
8. I think that Scottish nationalism is good thing, but seperation from the Union is the most deluded idea for a long time. ("Up yours, Longshanks!" does not seem a valid reason to create a country.)
9. Simon is currently asleep in the bed. Heh.
10. More than anything else in this world, I want a pony.
I am currently a very happy and snuggly Colleen. I have done very little in the last three days other than arse around, make Mars Bar Squares (three batches, all gone!), go to modern literature tutorials which have actually been great fun ("Colleen, you can't write 'shagging around' in your exam!"), sleep copiously and not tidy my room. I am... happy. Like, properly happy, where the world is all glowy. It might be the endorphins, I realise, but it also might just be the world clicking into place. Life is awesome when Simon is not here. I have great friends, a decent academic life, etc, etc. But Simon being here (I suppose this is the point of this marriage thing) is that stuff just all seems to make a little more sense.
Also, I bought an AWESOME dress today. It was the last one, it was in my size, and it was marked down to £15. I still can't afford that, but it's the first frivolous clothes purchase I've made for myself (I normally go out with a clear 'I need a black skirt for interviews' type of thing) for a year, and if I say so myself, I look AWESOME in it. So that is a good thing too.
Tonight is DocSoc! I have checked that everything is okay four times, so I should probably go and wake Simon up and get stuff ready and head out to that. Hurrah! Etc.
Life is good. I am happy.

Date: 2006-12-13 06:21 pm (UTC)I feel I am missing something. Is not our nationalism wishing separation from Union?

Date: 2006-12-13 06:38 pm (UTC)I just think being seperate would be bad for all concerned. Erm. Yes. Erm. I am not a Scot and feel I have stepped over the line a bit, but that's just what I think.

Date: 2006-12-13 06:50 pm (UTC)And I'm all yay and stuff about our history and law and education and stuff and will sometimes vote SNP, but ah dinnae want independence.
due to the 25% more in funding they get and stuff like that.
Ah, yes, I believe my standard response to such Mad Accusations at Edinburgh (what with it being almost as full of English students as StA's) was: "You stole our oil, damn it!"
See my firm grasp of the subtleties, oh yes.
