Last night, I was bone-shattered tired. I'd been, throughout the day, to collect an essay and then discovered it wasn't there, went to Cupar (long story), saw the election results and face-palmed quite impressively and desperately tried to stay awake. But no, you see, I had to stay awake because I was going on a pub crawl avec DocSoc, and I needed to get dressed up.

As, you know, an evil megalomanic who may have regenerated into a woman. These things happen. I also got a load of stickers and slapped them around people, with 'VOTE SAXON' written on them, which people either got and laughed or stared at me like I was a freak.

Anyway, Katie and I got in our taxi (problems involving high heels) and scooted off to the Union. In the end, there was only a small group of us on the pub crawl, but it was great fun. [livejournal.com profile] amaunet, [livejournal.com profile] linwesurion, [livejournal.com profile] stupidore, Phil, Andrew, Claire, John and a friend of Claire's turned up and we wandered around... well, not that many pubs, on the basis that there weren't many of us and we may have well hit the Bop. Did spend a few good hours, nattering to Phil about Sylvester McCoy, and telling stories about home and family life, drinking too much and doing some very awful dance moves before we even hit the Bop. I drank far too much and was loud and tipsy and giggly but I don't care. We ended up dancing far too enthusiastically as a whole; we get on very well as a society. We're a big society, but we feel like a small one, and that's no bad thing.

My head this morning; well, that's a bad thing, but never mind.

I am now officially on revision leave, which is why I indulged a little too much last night. I have far too much work to so - three subjects, abou ten days to learn them all, oh god oh god oh god - and I also agreed to drop Sasha around at the airport tonight so I can't even watch Doctor Who until the downloads go up, but between now and then I need to do me some revision.

But I am wearing a skirt out of sheer joie de vivre because right now, I am concentrating on the fact that all my essays are in, at least, and revision is something that needs to be done, but in two weeks time I'll have finished everything and will have a week to just... relax. Well, relax and pack.

I'm going to be back in Ormskirk in three weeks. That's an odd thought, when I'm working so hard for exams.
