Jul. 9th, 2007 01:25 pmI am so fed up of using this tiny little crappy computer that you wouldn't believe. Dear brain: GET OFF ARSE AND BUY MAGICAL WIRELESS FIXING THING.
I say this despite the fact I am so hardcore not leaving the house today. Not no way, not no how.
I sat down and worked out exactly how many days I've worked over the last week. Saturday-Tuesday and then Thursday-Sunday. Last night, they asked me if I'd do overtime today in the morning. I howled with laughter and thoroughly refused to do any such thing, because I am was going to be in bed, goddammit. And I was. If I'd done the overtime, I would currently just be on my lunch break after working a solid five hours. OH HO I LOVE ME SOME SLEEPING TIME.
Er, yes. Believe it or not, though, I have done some more slightly practical things at work (catheter bags and colostomy bags and dressings, oh my!) all of which I am, in fact, picking up rather well, and I have even done non-work based things.
Okay, if you want the precise details of this it was 'going into Southport with Jess and getting trollied' but it was still quite fun, considering that I haven't been out for over two months and I did celebrate this by going to the barman and saying "Two of your strongest cocktails!"
Don't remember much of the night after that, but the cocktail wasn't actually that bad.
I think the really pleasent part of recently has been catching up with friends, which is something I honestly have too crazy a work schedule to do on a regular basis. But now I'm getting used to my cracked out shift patterns, so I will hopefully get better at things like texting people back and actually leaving the house once in a while.
Today, however, I am going to catch up on the internet, clean self and house, put on some clothes that aren't my pajamas and read! outside! in the sun!

More importantly, Order of the Phoenix is on in Southport on Thursday and I am on an early that day, ergo free to see it...
