So, I enjoyed Harry Potter, not least because Iona and I spent all the adverts discussing the Gulag, slash, merrily spoilt the ending for those around us, why the Doctor is hot, and over such savoury subjects for the poor eight year-old sat next to me. Poor child.

Oh, Neville. You may be twelve-foot tall now, but you are still, in my mind, the bravest character. I'm a bit gutted that the best scene from the book - the one is the hopsital - was cut, but I can understand why.

Also, I will stand by my opinion that Voldemort really is quite hot when he's wearing That Suit. He is played by Ralph Fiennes, who is a reasonably attractive. Except in this, he is pale and wearing a mightily attractive suit. And because I am wrong in the head or whatever else, this somehow manages to completely negate the fact that he has no nose and has glowing red eyes. Yeah, so I'm going to the special hell. I know.

Luna! You are WIN! Exactly as I pictured her in the books.

Umbridge was really scary. I read a review that compared her to Margaret Thatcher and while I think that's a bit unfair, I can see the resemblance.

The Twins! I love the Twins in a faintly unreasonable way, I do, I do! Erm. I have no more coherant thoughts. I might go and see it again at a time where I will not be surrounded by small children.

So, that has been the positive highlight of my week. There hasn't really been any others, to be honest; it's been a massively awful week in Chez Cheetham to the point where I debated, this morning, just packing up my car and scarpering somewhere for a little while. To make matters that bit more fun, there's a nasty sickness and diorrhea bug going around work that in bad enough when the residents have it - there's only so many times a day you want to change the sheets, you know? - but now quite a few staff members have come down with it, which is more than a wee bit worrying. Wearing plastic gloves and aprons over the uniforms in fair enough, except it's apparently airborne. Got to love the old people!

This morning I watched Star Trek with my Dad for two hours. That was quite good fun.

I will hopefully have magical wireless internet by tonight. This will be truly wonderful, let me tell you.

I like the special hell. It is comfy.

I AM ON WIRELESS. I feel a bit like I'm performing witchcraft, to be honest...
