Oct. 14th, 2007 02:37 pmI am not yet dead but due to my cracking hangover I slightly wish I was.
Er. To explain. I am currently in the library as we still haven't been sent anything. I am rage filled but sincerely hoping it turns up in the next week.
Other stuff! Yes. I went out on Friday night with Sashcha to the awesomeness of AltSoc, wherein we danced like crazy fools with a surprising amount of people I know. My hangover was not horrendous, so, you know, yesterday I went to jazz, did some work, made an apple crumble (Dove's Farm Gluten Free Flour, how I love thee) and sat in my pajamas in front of the telly, watching Moulin Rouge, or at least watching it up until my personal ending which means it ends happily and THEY GO OFF AND HAVE LITTLE THEATRICAL BABIES.
It was at about this point I got a phone call from Richie, asking me where Claire's party was. "Oh, shit!" I exclaimed (see, no internet means no Facebook, and no Facebook means I never remember ANY social engagements) and leapt up, put on non-pajama related clothes and ran out of the house WITH EVERY INTENTION of staying for a drink, maybe two, and heading home.
I got in at three in the morning after about a bottle and a half of rose, drank with various members of the DocSoc committee in various stages of inebriation. We spent hours talking about The Key To Time, of all things. It was a very good, very unexpectedly enjoyable evening (morning?) but oh god, I'm paying for it now.
Unfortunately, I now have to go and research my last little bit on Braveheart - or at least the bit I'm willing to research before sitting down and really getting ready to write it - and then go to tap lessons. I think perhaps tap dancing would be unwise given my chronic headache, but hey, the exercise would be good, yes?
Argh, I have to go to work tomorrow. Is it just me or is third year really hard?
