Raisin carnage

'A really bad film.'
So, you might think these statements can never be linked. In Beowulf, they are. WHO'S HAVE THUNK IT?
I am currently sat on library computers next to a woman who is HISSING -I'm not sure why, but she looks really embarrassed so I'm asuming some kind of nervous tick - whilst most of St Andrews is fast asleep, throwing up, or dressed up in stupid costumes, armed with naught but some shaving foam and a lot of alcohol in their bloodstream. I am none of these things.
I do, however, wish I was asleep. I was quite good yesterday; I avoided most of the parties, including the one in my living room, and went out to see Beowulf instead. It looked a little like zombie apocolypse out there; people staggering around, sirens wailing, older people barracading themselves inside their homes. (For those that don't know, Raisin Weekend is essentially a giant booze up over two days that ends in a foam fight for the first years. It is Traditional and scares the crap out of the locals.)
Anyway, due to Sarah's admittingly quite quiet party but I am a massively light sleeper for the first six hours I'm asleep, and wake up for every little noise, such as people shouting, laughing or opening the front door, so I am now completely incoherantly exhausted myself. I have had about three hours sleep and am suffering for it but I have to go home and clean the house because I am perfectly aware that Sarah won't do it until tomorrow at least. This would be acceptable was the house not covered in half-drunk wine and all the utensils had not been used; they had ameal, so now we have no plates or indeed anything.
Okay, hissing woman is driving me barmy. As such, I am going to go home, put the dishwasher on and probably give up on the pile of work and go back to sleep. I am rock and roll.
