hathycolIt's Christmas. We have the tree up, I have presents pretty much sorted, I've been to see Muppet Christmas Carol. It was about time I put an icon up.
Also a meme so this post has... well, more substance anyway.
1.) When you walk in your front door, which room do you enter?
The hall.
2.)Do you have a dishwasher?
YES. It makes the washing-up arguments of last year seem like a distant memory.
3.) Is your living room carpeted or does it have hardwood floors
Carpeted.
4.) Do you keep your kitchen knives on the counter or in a drawer?
Both. We have a very disorganised kitchen with the cumulative Stuff of three people over three years as well as all the landladies stuff.
5.) House, apartment, duplex or trailer?
Semi-detached house. I AM THE MIDDLE CLASS DREAM.
6.) How many bedrooms is it?
Three.
7.) Gas stove or electric?
Gas.
8.) Do you have a yard?
Because of our location, we have a back garden, a front garden (with a gate! oh the luxury) and a huge lawn on one side. We don't really use it but it'll be nice in the summer.
9.) What size TV is in the living room?
Absolutely huge, for some bizarre reason.
10.) Are your plates in the same cupboard as your cups?
Gosh, no. Cups are on the mug tree, glasses are in the glass bits near the wine rack and plates are in the cupboard near the cooker. I did say our kitchen was complicated.
11.) Is there a coffee maker sitting on your kitchen counter?
Yes, I call it a kettle.
13.) What room is your computer in?
Bedroom. Quite often Sarah's room if my USB stick is playing up.
14.) Are there pictures hanging in your living room?
Yeah, actually; a couple of Monet prints. I sort of ignore them.
15.) Are there any themes found in your home?
Wine?
16.) What kind of laundry detergent do you use??
Cyclone non-biological. It was the cheapest in Morrisons the other week.
17.) Do you use dryer sheets??
What are they?
18.) Do you have any curtains in your home??
Oodles.
19.) What color is your fridge??
White except for the bits it's dirty and the fridge magnets.
20.) Is your house clean??
No. It drives me mad becuase over the last few years I've blossomed into a clean freak. I'll hopefully get it cleaned tomorrow if I have time. I spent four hours cleaning only last weekend, too...
21.) What room is the most neglected?
None. We don't have many rooms so they all get used.
22.) Are the dishes in your sink/dishwasher clean or dirty?
Dirty as hell.
23.) How long have you lived in your home?
Three months or so.
24.) Where did you live before?
Hell. Fife Park.
25.) Do you have one of those fluffy toilet lid covers on your toilet?
No! Our toilet seat is broken, though.
26.) Do you have a scale anywhere in your house?
Scales in the bathroom that are very kind and forgiving (I am consistently nine stone! SCORE) and some kitchen ones that we've had since first year.
27.) How many mirrors are in your house?
Loads! The landlady is obsessed. There's one one my wardrobe, a circular one on my wall, a couple in Sarah's room, a long one in Katie's room, one at the bottom of the stairs, two of cupbaords and a circular one in the bathoom, and one in the living room. No wonder we're all panicked about our appearence this year.

No, but I do have a drive-way at the side of the house to put my car in. I'm not allowed to park on the driveway at home (because I am awful at parking and can't be trusted not to bash Mum's car) so it's a bit of a novelty. I've only hit the gate twice, too.
