I have got quite a lot to do today, beginning with a shower. This is fine in itself, except I currently can't get past the ennui that is forcing me to sit in my pajamas and go LALALALA.

I mean, seriously. I can't put this shit off. I have Had Word from the garage about my car, with a sort of sheepish 'We've re-alligned your exhaust and, er, replaced your exhaust rubber...'

Knew it was my bloody exhaust rubber. That thing isn't right and it makes that noise but I thought no, I will let the garage get on with it. Apparently being 20, a non-local student and female makes it acceptable to fuck around with me. I THINK NOT. So ahead of me is an exciting battle to Not Pay for this repair and to be honest if they get nasty then I want my money back for the previous repair that did nothing. I have no idea how to go about this, though, short of 'getting really nasty'.

Remember, kids: apparently being totally loyal to Bassaguard and previously singing its praises is NOT THE WAY FORWARD. Sod them.

So that is one reason to leave the house. I also desperately need to go and do my laundry. I've negotiated a laundry card off a friend in Albany Park, but, you know, that's another walk with a black bag of laundry, a pocket of loose change and some washing powder.

Er, yeah. I'm really really going to have to go and have a shower and get dressed and stuff to do any of this stuff, which is fine in itself, but part of me is wondering why I should bother doing so, given that I've already been up, been to work, paid the electricity bill and done some shopping. SURELY THAT IS ENOUGH FOR ONE DAY.

Ugh. Naps are dangerous.
