Mar. 22nd, 2008 01:08 pmNote to self: when deciding on a whim to get a piercing, I tend to chose my ear. DO NOT CONTINUE THIS TREND.
I have a very lovely snug piercing, which is a bit of the ear near your head. It looks nice, but OH IT HURTS and it's close to my skull so it hurts there too. Don't get me started on sleeping. This is what you get for sitting in a class and making decisions when you should be learning about the Welsh.
Anyway. Yesterday was that and the CRAZY CRAZY WEATHER. This time last week, I was stood outside the Union all day in just a jumper and not even feeling slightly cold. Yesterday, it snowed, hailstoned and had winds so loud and blustery that it echoed through the house. Truly, a typical bank holiday weekend.
Not that you'd know it was a bank holiday weekend. I had classes yesterday, and then came home to the jos of bank holiday TV. As a house, we watched Wallace and Gromit, went to buy food (there may have been an emphasis on cheese and crackers) and then I spent literally hours of my life watching High School Musical 2. I feel a bit dirty, but I also have that slightly longing that life isn't really a musical. FOR SHAME.
Er, yes. Today is a day full of trying to carve out an essay, then cleaning, then Simon will be here! This is very exciting, yes, although now I have a mild fear about someone else being in the bed and possibly touching my very sore ear. Oh well. Given I haven't seen him fo bloody ages due to mutually crappy schedules, I am far too bouncy someone who's meant to be writing an essay.
