So, in conclusion, drinking tequila out of eggcups using rock salt and a tangerine is a jolly bad idea, as is drinking wine to get rid of the taste. Oh god. *cradles head* I don't think I'm drunk anymore, but who knows? I staggered in at 4am so there we are.

Erm. Yes. Last night was good fun and slightly random; bumped into the Work Night Out, which I happily scarpered away from with the speed of light because I knew I'd drunk too much to be in that company. We then wandered around bits of Ormskirk, marvelling at how it hadn't changed in the least and the amount of effort that people put in just to go to the Arriba. We then felt superior for a wee bit and then we went and drank tequila out of eggcups, so I suppose that was a wee bit hypocritical.

Going back to St A's tomorrow, having done pretty much none of the work I was going to, which will lead to an entertaining week as most of it is due in a week tomorrow. I've finished my presentation, and now I'm going to churn out a handout, just so that I can have one thing out of the way and get on with having a thorough panic about the fact I haven't done my three gobbets.

More importantly, however, I have finished Life on Mars, which was amazing, and now I'm going to start inhaling Ashes to Ashes as part of an ongoing attempt to ignore my piles of work. GOOD FUN.

Lemme know what you think of Ashes to Ashes. I've been kind of ambivalent about it (except Chris is awesome.) But that might be because I miss Sam.

Well, I'm only one episode into it, so can't really assess it just yet. However, my nagging problem with it (other than my sort of "Oh, Sam") is the location. Manchester in the 1970s is... well, all of the towns in the Lancashire and Manchester satellite are all the same as it was the 1970s or it was when I was young, so the pubs, the accents, stuff like that, all brought back pretty powerful nostalgia. London, and the spirit of the 1980s, all capitalism and Thatcher, does nothing for me.

We'll see how it goes, I suppose? I've been told it's fabulous towards the end, so I'm going to stick with it.
