Last week, I said 'you know, I enjoyed that episode, but a tiny little Brigadier reference would have made it perfect.'

AND OH HO THEY MADE IT PERFECT. What is the Brig doing in Peru? Probably SAVING THE WORLD, that's what. References! By name!!!!

AND THEN 'are you my mummy?'

AND THEN Rose was on screen, but that's the sort of reference I wanted - teeny, tiny, making me wonder what's going on, not wankfests of music and negating the point of the episode.

What with Captain Jack and clones? Did I miss that?

AND THEN they took Martha with them BECAUSE SHE IS THE BEST OF THEM ALL and the Doctor can't control the TARDIS and OH IT'S SO OLD SKOOL IT BRINGS ME JOY.Someone from AltSoc asked me watch this episode with them. Bloody good thing they didn't, as I've been shouting at the screen so loudly sometimes that I brought Sarah all the way downstairs.

It the TARDIS, Donna is shouting "Doctor!" at the TV screen and very, very briefly, just for a flash, Rose is there mouthing "Doctor!" too. See, that's the kind of reference I'm okay with.
