Last night, I went to a Eurovision party and was drunk by the results but was sober by the time I left the house. FEAR MY STUDENT SELF.

Er, yes, Eurovision. Those of us watching it had come to the sad conclusion fairly early on that we wouldn't win, so when we weren't cheering those who did give us points (yay for San Marino and Ireland!) we were wailing, wailing I tell you, when Latvia didn't win. It had PIRATES. It was a GOOD SONG. You could dance to it! We figured that with a combination of political voting and PIRATES it would actually win! Of course, our support last year of the Ukraine and hatred of Serbia didn't work, so we should have seen it coming. Still, though. I didn't like the Russian song at all and it just all seemd a bit iffy to me that even the crapfest that was Spain's/France's entry did better than the UK did.

Anyway. It is now nearly noon and I am very, very tired as I hauled myself out of bed as I don't want to establish a regular 3.00am-noon sleeping pattern.

FINALLY. After some enquires made last night, does anyone in the whole world like Thousand Island sauce? And as no one seems to, why is it constantly involved in multi-packs of dips?

Um, Thousand Island sauce is the favourite of everyone in my household. And all my aunties. And all my uncles. On both sides of the family.

I AM CONFUSED NOW, as it's clearly not a north-western catholic of Irish descent thing, because as I recall, you're all three ;).

heh. greece and russia were both dreadful. we didn't see too many others, but from the ten second snatches at the end i was crossing my fingers for finland.
