Have been surprisingly busy the last few days. I managed to get roaringly drunk on Saturday with the usual suspects of DocSoc fame and scared the crap out of the new housemate. Have I mentioned her? Erm, yes. Sunday was primarily a hangover, and today I have been doing New Things. I started my new job this morning, and they seem to be easing me into both gently and with alarming speed. Whilst I have yet to be taught how to use the till, I have also single-handedly done the restocking. This may be because they wanted to keep me in the stockroom all day, which is in the basement.
Er, yes.
Also today I went to dissertation meeting. Supervisor does not hate me. Hurrah! We had a chat in which he warned me to do my reading. This is a fair piece of criticism, as at this point I had confessed that I hadn't done any reading yet.
Sorry. I am shattered, am apprently working for eight hours tomorrow and have spent far too much of today being very, very nice. I can't keep it up for this long. Sorry.
