... and to top of what was already a pretty good day, the fog has lifted and I can see SKY and SUN and LITTLE TWEETING BIRDS. And then I phoned my mum last night to discover that Grandad is out of hospital. Still ill, still has to have his gallbladder taken out in a month, but out of hospital and eating again is a massive, massive improvement.

So I went into Dundee today and found that the t-shirt I've wanted from TopShop I've wanted for ages was nearly out and the size they had left was mine. The jumper I subsequently bought was just, well, because I was on a roll.

I am now going to go and get on with my dissertation because I am liking my odds of finally finding something really, truly, solidly, useful.

I am glad your grandad is out of hospital. *hugs* It's a bit awful having ill relatives, I know.

And hooray, clothes and useful dissertation work. Can you send some motivation my way? I have had a book on artificial black holes sitting on my desk since nearly the start of the holidays, and so far I have read nothing but the introduction...

My motivation is THE FEAR. Also pic and mix. Sort of a carrot and stick method; more or less the same one I use for exams in fact.
