tau_sigma, had a generally awesome time, and returned back to Ormskirk. I would tell you all of my adventures - featuring goats, hobo chickens, schizophrenic weather and The Fear that can only be felt when you come home to discover your grandfater tinkering with your engine ("I HAVE TO TRAVEL BACK TO ORMSKIRK AND THEN TO SCOTLAND TOMORROW PLEASE ADJUST NOTHING!") - but I am currently busy.
Essentially, I'm off to Scotland to meet Peter Davison! And some other people, but, well, PETER DAVISON. You wouldn't believe the arsing around this entails, but still, CONVENTION YAY. I am due to leave the house in two hours and haven't yet packed or showered or checked out my car, but I do have directions, Pro Plus, and applied for a credit card, so that's something.
I will return with photos, fandom paraphanalia and AWESOME STORIES. (Although I am a little sad that I'm not going to the Milton Keynes equivalent, I know I couldn't take those roundabouts...)
