hathycolI am now free to celebrate Christmas, sort of, although by 'Christmas' I mean 'December.' Haven't been able to get Christmas Ball tickets, though, despite standing out in the cold for two hours to the extent of Katie passing out in the cold. No, really.
And yes, we're queueing up on Wednesday like mental people EVEN EARLIER because so help me God, I already bought a dress. And some shoes.
Anyway, I have got out a Christmas icon (subtle this year, I reckon) and I started this morning with a piece of chocolate and my slightly late oh god that was a bad day on Sunday period turning up, so that is probably a rather happy medium. And I will go to Collectormania, my Christmas meal at work, the Christmas Ball, I've got my winter quilt out of storage, and I'll get my dissertation and essay written and everything.
Presuming, of course, I don't die of hypothermia on Wednesday, but that's by the by.
