hathycolIs it reasonable to e-mail my dissertation supervisor and be all 'MY COMPUTER BLEW UP AND THERE ISN'T A CAT IN HELL'S CHANCE YOU'RE GOING TO GET 3000 WORDS BY TOMORROW?'
From one perspective... well, actually, it's my own bloody fault for not backing up and for, you know, going on a Weekend O' Geek. From another, the official deadline for this work is Friday and he's all 'ah, well, I'm going away so it needs to be in early.'
Also I want to be home for the Sarah-Jane Adventures and the library does not facilitate this.
Oh man, I hope I get a phonecall from the computer people soon.
