OH MY GOD I JUST GOT AN E-MAIL FROM MY SUPERVISOR AS AN INSTANT 'OUT OF OFFICE' THING SAYING THAT HE ISN'T GOING TO ANSWER E-MAILS UNTIL 15TH JANUARY. THIS IS A WEEK AFTER MY DISSERTATION IS HANDED IN.

This, ladies and gentleman, is the panic of a woman who has lots of fiddly questions about her dissertation layout and IS NOT GOING TO GET THEM ANSWERED.

Argh argh argh argh. I appreciate it's my own fault for not finishing this earlier, but he swore down blind to me he was available through e-mail! As such I assumed my fiddly questions that were not apparant until I sat down with a red pen. ("Do I need a capitalise Royalism?" etc.) And he's really funny about layout and presentation! Also I do not know where to return his books to now! Fuck!

Maybe, it's a generic won't reply so he doesn't have to deal with non-important emails so he can focus on you and maybe anyone else he has to do disertation stuff with? *fingers crossed*

It was! He sent back an e-mail! I am now partially panic free and can pester him with loads of utterly irrelevant questions!

Yikes. I feel your panic from all the way across the Atlantic. All I can say is remember to breathe... and good luck. Do you need a second pair of eyes to go over the dissertation?

Fortunately, I have one - my Dad went over it, and he's pretty good and spelling and stuff. Thanks for the offer, though!
