This week, I have mostly returned to paid employment and looked for rather longer term paid employment. I have a nagging feeling that this is probably what the next year or so will look like, but there we are. I'm all up for paid employment, of course, as it gives me a reason to leave the house that isn't 'pub' and I'd quite like to have a job next year, obviously, but honestly, I've gone from only being able to talk about my dissertation and daytime telly to only being able to talk about job applications and daytime telly.

Bring on the start of courses at this point, I think. I would like to elljay about something useful, but all of it is currently stuff that to be honest, you don't really want to know about, like the random program about pigs I watched last night, or Come Dine With Me. So there we are.

I am ridiculously tired. Ho hum. I can't believe I was in Oxford this time last week!

Come dine with me this week has been amazing! The big bosomed lady is acting like a right ignoramus (I wanted to be more insulting at this point but ignoramus sums her up nicely!)

You know, I actually feel a bit sorry for that Angie woman. I know she's been a bit dim, but I actually think she doesn't mean it; I think the big-bosomed lady is taking offence slightly too easily... she doesn't stop banging on about it!

Also, it's lots better than last week; that group was just a bit frightening!

I'm hooked on this now too! The lot last week were mental - especially the woman who had to go and have a sleep and left her guests to fend for themselves!

And did you see mad woman's reaction when she came last? Priceless. Also, she didn't congratulate the winner on the show. Says it all!

I think Angie is sweet and good natured. Big Bosom lady seems a bit of an uptight manipulation artist and reminds me of someone I once knew but thank god is no longer in my circle of friends!

Last week's lot were awesome! God, I love this show.

I think setting up of an Angie Support Group oin LJ or Facebook is the way forward :D
