After seeing people out in the street today, looking happy and couply, I sort of vaguely wished I hadn't got all lazy about today. Only vaguely, mind. It's possibly a result of having spent all day getting close to Joseph Chamberlain and at the same time not really having got all that much done, which is aggravating, but at least I can get plenty done tomorrow and hopefully get on with this flaming essay.

Either way, it's done now. And I think seeing all the anxious men and women in Tescos peering at things like DVDs and flowers and food makes me feel better..! Saying that, I hope everyone who is doing something for the day is having fun, whether it's what was planned or what's a surprise or anything like that. And so on and so forth. I am about to settle down with some wine and the Terminator and just try and not think about stuff for a while. You know, stuff like Joseph Chamberlain, who I am completely unable to get my head around as a person. This is bad, as the essay is due in six days now.

Argh, not going to think about this, or all the little nagging worries I have at the back of my head. Instead I'm going to crack open some wine and start caring about Arnie. You know, back when he was thin and kept his political aspirations quiet.

eta: Well, the first one is quite good. You know. If you discount the fact that I spent most of it pondering why makeup!Arnie looked like David Bowie. Turns out I had seen a vast chunk of it before, but I must have been about twelve; during a lot of the first section, I have really clear memories of my mum howling with laughter at the sight of naked!Arnie and so on and so forth. After seeing the Sarah Connor Chronicles I understand why the third one is good, but only if you discount all the awful, awful crap with the Terminators and instead get excited about the apocolyptic stuff.

You know, I actually have the channel that has the second series of the SCC. I live too close to the sea to recieve it. (It also carries a lot of Star Trek and X-Files too; you see my rage at this.) I am very much hoping when I go home for Easterthat BT Vision has acquired it too, since that was how I saw the first season and is basically the reason my Valentine's Day was full of wine and cybernetic organisations beating the shit out of the world.

Fuck, I have work really soon. Bollocks.
