Let's get the telly stuff out of the way first: Planet of the Dead was... well... I'm not sure about Lady Cristina de Souza on the basis that I am a Bit Antsy about the aristocracy and I'm on the opinion that whilst I would quite like to be a cat burglar myself I sort of think that nicking priceless artifacts Just For Fun is a bit morally ambiguous at best. So, er, um. I liked her arse in those trousers?

I loved Malcolm because Malcolm is basically me. If I actually met the Doctor I would just hug him and scream "I LOVE YOU MARRY ME!" as well. I was also quite impressed with unexpected!UNIT, and thew new Captain was really ace; sure, she admires the Doctor but she'd also quite like to not have the planet be eaten alive by some quite scary space stingrays. They were more scary close up, weren't they?

I liked the plot, too; it rattled along. Not as good as the Christmas special, but much more fun.

I hope I get stranded on an alien world and end up getting a job.

Anyway, Primeval. OH MY GOD, THEY KILLED CUTTER! I was quite genuinely shocked, I honestly was. I'm sure he'll come back, but I think that the reason the earth falls into hell with all the future predators happens because Nick isn't there to stop it? Possibly. It's pretty far in the future, though, given that Helen has apparently been there and nicked techology...

Oh, why am I over-thinking bloody Primeval? The important part was that Abby is still ace and the creatures were adorable. I think they should take them both home, call them Sid and Nancy and let them make friends with Rex.

Also no Sir Guy in Robin Hood this week. NOT ON.

So, the last two days I have mostly been drinking. I went out on Friday and got leathered with my mother, which was a classy affair as you can imagine. Feeling somewhat delicate, I trundled over to Jess's house yesterday at 4pm. She and her mum offered me a glass of wine. I took it on the basis that it would be rude not to.

We talked, caught up, enjoyed the sun, went in for Doctor Who and all that. Somewhere along the lines more wine was ingested, primarily during a Twilight-fest in which we mostly laughed a lot and made cheap jokes. Five bottles of wine later (okay, between three... no, that's still awful) I went home.

I learned a lot of things last night, one of which was some news about someone I used to know who had passed away which is always awful and I feel dreadful I didn't know in time to send a card. But mostly it was all great news and good fun.

Until I put my phone in a glass of water.

It may be FUBARed. I'm not really sure, I'm drying it out and hoping for the best. (At least the Bank Holiday sales will be on tomorrow). You'll need to e-mail me for anything urgent, I'm afraid!

Anyway. Now it is Easter, so happy Easter and all that. I am going to go and try not to think too much. Astonishingly I'm not hungover. It'll probably hit me tomorrow.

It doesn't happen to be a 3 phone, does it? I actually have one of those going spare...

Alas, it's not! It's an Orange one... if it's not working tomorrow, I may have to fall into a phone shop at some point... are we still on for tomorrow? Oh, the one day I could actually do with using my phone...

It is indeed! I will... er... send you a pigeon if there's any problems on my end. Can't imagine any.

(It'll be a nice pigeon, I promise.)

Also no Sir Guy in Robin Hood this week. NOT ON.

Truly it was the Worst. Episode. Ever. And I didn't see him in the trailer for next week either. Hmph.

I can normally look over all the awful historical stuff because I spend the whole time howling quite frankly obscene comments at the sceen re: Sir Guy of Gorgeous. I even quite like the new tousled look. So doing a week of just awful historical inaccuracy to new and frightening levels in a week without Guy was like my personal torture. Not impressed.

Ok: things I think.

1. Robin Hood without Sir Guy of the Sex is just dull and boring and distinctly lacking in man-candy, however I don't like his new hair

2. I might forgive everything when Toby Stephens turns up because he is awesome!

3. Talking of Cambridge Spies, I loved Tom Hollander turning up in Doctor Who

4. It was awful from the point where they used the Superman thing of going round and round the Earth to create a wormhole/go back in time. After that I couldn't forgive them for recycling

5. Flying London buses could solve a lot of problems

1. I don't like his new hair but I feel that putting him in tighter trousers nearly makes up for it. Mmm. Tight black trousers.

4. Yeah, I was a bit unsure re: flying fast causes wormholes.
