May. 23rd, 2009 05:05 pmNote to self: pleasant though it may be to sit in a beer garden and drink rose wine in the sun, it is not wise. I went from 'cheerful' to 'blind drunk' in about thirty seconds. Other than that I had a lovely afternoon and a terrible hangover at about midnight, which was surreal, but did mean work was bearable today. This is especially important given my manager spent the day asleep in the back office, only waking up for a cigarette every three hours. I feel better about my drink intake.
Anyway, it was lovely but I think the moral of the story is that, as I have proved countless times in the past, I cannot drink in the afternoon. I need at least two meals in me before I drink, I think! At least I have learnt a lesson before the end of my exams on Tuesday at 12.30pm.
Anyway, I am now home, starving hungry but am trying to hang on until 'official' tea time, i.e. when Robin Hood in on. Fortunately this week there are no television clashes so I can avoid revision for ages. I am very aware that I have more revision to do than you can shake a stick at, and have thus far done two topics, and those not in depth.
God, roll on freedom.
