In honour of my last exam, which is taking place in just over fifteen hours, I felt it was appropriate to post:

I have reached a sort of zenlike calm about the whole thing, and also hope the government doesn't pick tonight to decide on any sweeping reforms; not technically relevant to me, but I can't cope with thinking about modern day reforms to Parliament, I'm still stuck in 1918. Well, actually, I hope I'm not and that I get stay hovering around 1832 and 1867, but that's by the by. Basically, right, if questions come up that I'm sorted on then life is good. If it isn't, I'm screwed. If I had longer to revise, I could take the time to actually learn about stuff like Peel, or the Conservative Party before 1874, but I didn't understand it then and I haven't got the time to learn it all now from scratch, so I'm hoping my strong topics come up. If not, then, I'm fucked, but I've accepted that now.
I just want it all to be over. Tomorrow I am going to do an exam, and then I'm going to clean, and then I might just go out. Well. After I've eaten my tea and have people shout at my at least fourteen times "DON'T DRINK ROSE WINE, YOU DIVVY." I might go and see Star Trek again, actually...
The rest of the week is shaping up to be a good 'un, too. Wednesday heralds a barbeque and Old Skool Doctor Who watching (come along if you can!), which I'm really looking forward to. Thursday Katie and I are going into Dundee for some long overdue shopping, and in the evening I'm off to an AltSoc party. I'm going to put some effort into seeing everyone before they leave, and I'm going to see Star Trek many more times. I'm going get my naval re-pierced, and book a graduation gown and a graduation meal and carefully not book the photographer my mum is desperate for, and I'm going to enjoy finishing my degree. Longer term I'm going to do lots of overtime and look for a job like a madwoman, but that's something to worry about after graduation. I will come to terms with being a graduand.
First of all, though? I'm going to finsih this bastarding exam, and finish my degree with, rather appropriately, a whimper and not a bang.
It's all good. Or it will be at about 12.32pm tomorrow...
