(no subject)

Do you know, I've got a terrible urge to go Bopping, or at least do something. It's a Friday, I have the whole weekend off, and four years of studentdom have made me go 'wheeeee, let's go and do something fun!'

This will probably not happen, as I am basically quite dull and astonishingly out of contact with the shiny people of the North-West. ACTUALLY, anyone in the North-West fancy doing to the cinema at some point soon? I really want to see... well, a lot of films, but District 9 is tempting as, you know, aliens and I am a geek. I am also uneasy going to the cinema by myself here, as these are big chain cinemas rather than teeny independent one used to lone nerds. So, you know, people! Who I like! And do not see enough! Come and see a film about aliens with me!

That aside, I started cleaning the house today. Do you know what is difficult to clean? A house populated with a dog that sheds ALL THE DAMN TIME and three smokers. The bathroom is now pristine and I've removed the tobacco stains, but I took one look at the living room and sort of abandoned hope. I have lived in Fife Park, I shouldn't be doing that.

So yes, people, let's go out and watch aliens being oppressed and stuff. It should be ace. I won't talk about cleaning. I promise.

I HAVE THE WEEKEND FREE AND I'D LIKE TO SEE DISTRICT 9, LIKE, A LOT.

Are you in Liverpool? Or Manchester? Because I would approve of the Liverpool One cinema or the Printworks in Manc. EITHER SOUNDS GOOD.

Unless someone else makes you a better offer :).

OH YAY! I AM EXCITED UNTO CAPITALS.

Liverpool One is easier for me as Manchester is a bitch to get into. (I live in Ormskirk. Woe is me.) Also I have a discount card as I am an employee of a Liverpool One shop so maybe there will be cheap things! I'm not sure where I get discounts at, though. ADVENTURE TIME!

Saturday is best for me as I'm not available on Sunday. Latest I can probably do is 6.15 due to the last train for me at about eleven and having no way to get home otherwise. But earlier is nifty too.

My number in 07866 147821 so let me know when's best for you and we can Sort Something Out.

Wooooooooooooooo!

3.30pm showing at Liverpool One would probably mean saner hours :), plus having time for a proper natter and bite to eat afterwards (Nandos, Bar Burrito, Yo Sushi, Eddie Rockets, McDonalds, Caesar's Palace, I am NOT FUSSY) would be awesome because gosh darnit the post-movie discussion is the MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ANY MOVIE VISIT.

Plus it gives me time to decide whether when I take my bro 'n' sis to the movies if District 9 or Inglorious Basterds is a more appropriate choice ;).

I wish I lived nearer you! I want to see District 9, purely because alienz omg and also dodgy moral things. Still, go and ENJOY.

Also, cleaning. You are a much better person than me.

YAY FOR ALIENZ OMG. There's lots of films I want to see - The Time Traveller's Wife, that Quentin Tarantino one that I can't misspell properly, and I want to go and see Dorian Grey next week, but, well, at heart I just like films with big spaceships in them.

I did the cleaning because the house is FILTHY and I am saying that as someone who lived in student housing for four years. I am okay with clutter, I AM NOT COOL WITH THIS MUCH DUST.

ALIENZ. I want to see The Time Traveller's Wife, too, but I think I've left it a little late. Oops.

While I would love it if you visit again, I think you might have some sort of terrible fit if you saw my house in the state it is now. So much clutter and dust, sigh. (To be fair, last time I tried to hoover, the damn thing didn't work - at least, it was telling me the bag wasn't full, so I didn't even check that. :s oops.)
